Without the backing of our big-hearted business community, we would not be able to do as much as we do, as well as we do it, for the local families who need us at the toughest of times. Each company is different and that’s why we have a number of ways your organisation can get involved and make a difference.

Payroll Giving

Make every payday count with payroll giving for St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth

When it comes to supporting a cause you care about, there’s no smarter way than through payroll giving. Not only is it simple for organisations to set up and manage securely, it’s a great way to boost staff morale, engagement and retention all while doing something amazing for people in need.

It’s the regular income we receive through payroll giving that helps us plan ahead so that we can be here for more local families in the months and years to come, which is getting harder as demand on our service continues to rise.

Call us on 01752 964437, or drop an email to regulargiving@stlukes-hospice.org.uk to speak to our team.

Choose us as your charity of the year

Build a close relationship with a much-loved local charity by becoming a corporate partner of St Luke’s. When you choose to unite your staff behind our cause for a year of fundraising, you’ll not only harness their passion but develop their skills, all while increasing awareness of your brand – and we’ll support you every step of the way.

Corporate volunteering

The community-spirited businesses who volunteer with us don’t just raise their profile and boost their bottom line, they enable their staff to have enriching experiences, too, boosting motivation. Improve your corporate responsibility and jump aboard!

Sponsor a nurse

Our nurses are special people. With compassion in their DNA, they choose to work in situations many would find too challenging. They know that what our patients need most is comfort, support and kindness that helps them live well to the end of their lives, making the most of every moment with their loved ones.

When you choose to sponsor a St Luke’s nurse, you are giving a precious gift to all those in their care now and in the days ahead.

Golf Days

A Golf Day in aid of St Luke’s is the perfect fundraising opportunity for your business or organisation.

Our Golf Days are kindly sponsored by Plymouth Golf Centre, who have generously donated a fantastic £1200 prize pack for those of you hosting golf day raffles which includes: rounds of golf, golf lessons, footgolf and much more.

If you would like to organise a St Luke’s Golf Day then please get in touch. We can supply you with some information about St Luke’s for your guests and all the appropriate fundraising materials, such as collection buckets.

Please contact us on 01752 492626 or partnerships@stlukes-hospice.org.uk to find out more. We would love to hear from you.

Make a St Luke’s wish come true on Amazon

People sometimes ask us what they could buy for St Luke’s to make an immediate impact on our patients and their families, and those who care for them.

With that in mind, our nurses and care staff have set up an Amazon Wishlist of suitable items that could make a real difference on a day-to-day basis.

Starting at just a few pounds, the list features things like cosy throws and hand-held fans to make patients more comfortable, special books and art activities for children and baby video monitors for relatives’ peace of mind when people are being cared for in their own homes.

Purchasing these useful items for us frees up money we can spend directly on the care we provide for patients and their loved ones, at home, in hospital and in our specialist unit.

Life Ledger

Life Ledger is an end of life planning and account closure service working with St Luke’s. When a loved one dies, Life Ledger’s easy-to-use service allows families to inform all of the businesses connected to the loved one who has passed away, from one place.

Their post bereavement service, which is free to register, allows you to close, freeze or transfer all of your loved one’s accounts from one place, helping to ease the burden on families.

Alternatively, you can use their end of life planning service by  registering your accounts or those of a loved one, from energy companies to mobile providers, to keep track of accounts, upload wills, funeral plans and life insurance policies to help others navigate the administration after a loved one’s death.
